Not because I’ve read about it, but because I’ve been in it.

Most couples I’ve worked with over the years through relationship counselling aren’t lacking love. They’re often stuck in painful communication patterns.

Communication doesn’t usually fall apart in one big moment. It slowly unravels.

A sharper tone than you meant. Things you stop bringing up because it’s just easier.
The same conversations going nowhere. Small stuff turning into big blow-ups and thinking, How did we end up here again?

The love hasn’t gone. But talking to each other feels exhausting… risky… sometimes unsafe.

I’ve made mistakes here. I’ve said the wrong thing, stayed quiet when I shouldn’t have and hoped things would magically improve if I just tried harder or waited it out. They didn’t.

What did help, both personally and after many years working with couples, was slowing everything down and understanding what was really going on underneath the conflict.

That’s why I created Talk Like You Love Each Other, a three-session communication program for couples who want to stop going in circles and start finding their way back to each other.

It’s not about perfect words. It’s about changing the pattern, together.

Talk Like You Love Each Other, offers couples real, practical support with relationship communication, emotional safety and conflict resolution.  It’s about understanding why conversations keep going wrong… and learning how to change them, together.

The Program

Across three supportive sessions, we focus on the moments where couples usually get stuck.

The conversations that keep going sideways.
The tension that builds.
The feeling of not quite reaching each other, even when you’re trying.

Session One — It Starts With Me

In Session One, you’ll learn to:

  • Understand your own communication style under stress

  • Notice the patterns that create disconnection

  • Identify what helps you feel emotionally safe and heard

Session Two — Meet Your Triggers

In Session Two, you’ll learn to:

  • Recognise triggers before they escalate into conflict

  • Respond with less reactivity and more calm clarity

  • Practise active listening that rebuilds emotional connection

Session Three — Future-Proofing Your Conversations

In Session Three, you’ll learn to:

  • Learn conflict resolution tools for real-life relationship conversations

  • Build communication habits that last beyond the sessions

  • Understand the 5 Communication Languages so you stay connected long-term
